Chief Minister Chandrababu revealed the loss incurred by Phethai Cyclone.


Aerial Survey was conducted in East Godavari district on Tuesday by AP CM, where Pethai cyclone made its impact. AP State Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu asked the farmers of Krishna and Godavari deltas to re-harvest the crop to prevent further losses from October, December.
Necessary steps are being taken by the government to prevent further loss. 9 NDRF, 40 SDRF and 111 firefighting teams have been put in place for the Pethai storm protection measures. Roads also use 879 power grids for clearance NDRF and SDRF teams organized mock drill programs in the villages affected by the cyclone.
Multi-disciplinary teams have been continuously participating in relief efforts with officers and staff of the revenue, police, power, RWS, panchayat raj, R & B headed by 51 IAS officers. Due to the Pethai storm east Godavari district in 17 mandals 31,257 members are influenced. We have arranged 187 rehab centers for sheltered and food. Command control rooms will be set up in the 13 districts of the state by taking advantage of scientific technology. A meeting was held regarding this which was attended by State Deputy Chief Minister Nirmala Chinnarajappa, District Collector Karthikeya Mishra, Vishakha District Collector Praveen Kumar, MLAs Jyothi Nehru, Vasanthi Venkateswara Rao, Cat Ananthalakshmi, SVSN Varma.
