Bavanachadu, Goppinti Alludu, Pavithra, Devasthanam, Eega, Dikkulu Chudaku Rammayya are the movies made with intriguing stories, for which story and dialogues were provided by writer turned director Janardhan Maharshi. His latest film is Vishwadarshanam, the movie based on Legendary filmmaker, Kalatapswi K Vishwanath. Film has tagline Hundred years old silver screen is telling you a story of a 90-year-old golden director. TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla have produced this non-feature film under the banner People Media Factory. For the movie Vishwadarshanam, Megastar Chiranjeevi has honored Janardhan Maharshi.
Janardhan Maharshi has a huge passion for movies. With this immense zeal towards movies, he landed in Chennai. Thereafter, he faced many struggles. In 1990, he joined as an assistant to Tanikella Bharani. When asked about the famous writers, Janardhan Maharshi couldn’t answer. Then he was asked to watch the movies of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Orissa, Kannada and tell about those movies. Later, he was asked to read 100 years of old literature. From which Janardhan Maharshi garnered power to go forward for 10 years.
In this way, he entered the cinema industry and joined as an assistant near Bharani … and got to know many things. Thereafter, he proved himself as a writer, director and garnered huge accolades. His latest directorial Vishwadarshanam is officially selected for South Asian International Film Festival 2019 in documentary category-Panorama Section. Recently, the film won the Dadasaheb Phalke award in special story category. Director Janardhan Maharshi has received the award in Dadasaheb International film festival in Delhi. On the director’s day, megastar Chiranjeevi honored Janardhan Maharshi. In this way, he has created a distinct identity for himself and we wish he would win more awards in the near future.
