Pakistan has deplored what it sees as an irresponsible military action from India, when one its national was killed by firing in the Nakyal sector across the LoC.
“The deliberate targeting of civilians is indeed deplorable and contrary to human dignity and international human rights and humanitarian laws,” according to a statement from Mohammad Faisal, director general, South Asia Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Pakistan.
According to certain sections of the media in Pakistan, a 22-year-old Pak national was killed while he was headed for Dothilla village. Three others were injured by the same fire, it added.
Meanwhile, acting Indian Deputy High Commissioner S. Raghuram was summoned by the Pak authorities, and a formal complaint was lodged in this regard.
