Even as the Supreme Court has reinstated the travel ban through its newest verdict, President Donald Trump has claimed victory on the same.
The revival of the ban, has however, thrown some confusion as to the intricacies of its implementation, sources added.
The verdict bans travelers from six countries with whom the US does not have “existing ties”, leaving certain bureaucrats clues about the precise meaning of “ties”, which is not defined in the US immigration law.
US Supreme Court has also said that anyone with a “bona fide relationship”, with any organization or individual in the country, should not be barred from entering.
President Trump said the verdict was a victory for the national security, as legal experts said the ruling had to be decoded.
“It allows the travel suspension for the six terror-prone countries and the refugee suspension to become largely effective.” affirmed Trump.
