I am fortunate to see my story on silver screen-Padma shri awardee Chintakindi Mallesham

Mallesham, the upcoming film is based on the life history of Padmashri awardee Chintakindi Mallesham, who invented  ‘Asu Machine’ to reduce the hardship of handloom weavers. Raj R directed this biopic. Suresh Productions is presenting the film which is all set to release on 21 June. The extraordinary story of an ordinary man is the tagline. Actor Priyadarshi will be seen in the titular role. The team held a trailer release event in Hyderabad.

On this occasion, Padma Shri awardee Chintakindi Mallesham said, ‘One day Raj called me and said he wanted to make a movie. He came with a script after two years. It is a great thing to make a movie about an ordinary man. Director Raj’s wish is fulfilled to tell the story of Mallesham to the world. Priyadarshi did a fabulous performance’.

Director, producer Raj.R said, “I thank Ganesham and Mallesam for giving permission to make the movie. This biopic is a responsibility and we have worked accordingly. We have done the movie with honesty. This is not an art film. This is a commercial movie’. Mallesham trailer launch event was graced by Palle Srujana, Padma Shri awardee Chintakindi Mallesham, Ganesham, director-actor Tharun Bhascker, Sandeep Kishan, Priyadarshi and others.
