Janasena Party president Pawan Kalyan has announced that the Janasena government will eliminate drought by completing the Velugonda project in 18 months. A sum of Rs 500 crore would be released for helping the kidney victims and the responsibility of military families would be taken up by Janasena government and the servicemen would be provided house-sites and sainik schools would be opened for their children. He further said coaching centers would be set up in every assembly constituency for the convenience of students preparing for the competitive examinations.
Addressing a public meeting as part of the election campaign in Giddaluru in Prakasam district on Wednesday, Pawan Kalyan said Giddaluru was the place where great freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy won the battle. Janasena Party would act as per the wishes of the people to make the area as a developed region. Steps would be taken to prevent migrations from Prakasam district. “I have grown up in Kanigiri and learned lessons in Ongole and I will develop Prakasam district which could not be incomparable,” he said.
No way to bow my head before Modi
Sri Pawan Kalyan snubbed the remarks made against him by YSRCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy saying that how he should call him as a jailbird, who lavished in jail for two years. He said Jaganmohan Reddy was not even dared to utter his name as he was referring him as “Chandrababu Partner” or actor. He said “I never said I was not an actor. Yes, I am an actor and entered into politics leaving my profession. When he is calling me as an actor, how shall I refer Jagan who spent two years in the jail? Shall I call him Mahatma Gandhi? Is he spent in jail after fighting in the freedom movement? But, he has gone to jail by exploiting people’s money. If he is the “Chandrababu partner”, was he a BJP partner? Or Amit Shaw partner?”
He said he could have tie-up openly with TDP if he wanted to do it. He was against having dealings in darkness like YCP has it with BJP. “I cannot bow my head before the feet of Narendra Modi or Amith Shah. I am an Andhrite and pride Telugu man and I can’t mortgage my self-respect before the Bharatiya Janata Party, which denied the special status for AP and I even prepared to behead myself,” he said.
People’s problems totally ignored
Sri Pawan Kalyan said the problems of the people were totally ignored as the politicians were busy in taking back their investments as an MP candidate has to invest Rs 100 crore while the MLA candidate has to spend Rs 50 crore. Politics became a trade for politicians. They were making statistics on how to get back their investments and the people’s problems were taken a back seat, he added.
Rs 10 lakh health insurance for every family
He said every family would be provided with Rs 10 lakh health insurance and one lakh young farmers would be nurtured by setting up special agriculture zones. All the three lakh backlog posts would be filled within six months after Janasena Party formed the government and one-fee policy would be introduced for all competitive examinations. Similarly, all the vacant posts in the police department would be filled and in addition, notification would be issued for 25,000 special commando posts.
Sri Pawan Kalyan appealed to the people to cast their vote on glass symbol and elect Janasena Party Lok Sabha candidate Bellamkonda Saibabu and MLA candidate Chandrasekhar Yadav with thumping majority.
