Story, screenplay

Gautham’s direction

Anirudh’s music

Minus points:

Slow at some points

Arjun wishes to become an international cricket player. But, due to a few circumstances, he couldn’t achieve it. Nani has given an excellent performance as Arjun and showcased emotions nicely. Also, Shraddha as a middle class girl, who loves her husband has impressed everyone. The combination scenes of Arjun and his son are light-hearted and also emotional. Director Gautham has presented the story in a sincere way and it seems every scene is necessary. In the second half, the Ranji matches are remarkable, they give the experience of watching a real cricket match.

Anirudh music adds a nice feel and elevates the visuals. All the technicians have worked with passion and made this movie. Satyaraj had done full justice to his role as Arjun’s coach. The combination scenes between them are enthralling. From recent times, there was a buzz that Majili and Jersey resemble. But, except one scene, both the movies are way too contrasting. The climax scene of Jersey is engaging and leaves everyone with tears. Overall, Jersey gives an experience of watching a nice movie.
