Maharshi review


Superstar Mahesh Babu’s landmark 25th film is ‘Maharshi’. Pooja Hegde paired opposite Mahesh and Allari Naresh essays a key role. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film is produced by Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju, and PVP. Film theatrical trailer has heightened the expectations among the audience. After much anticipation, Maharshi is released today worldwide.

Story: Rishi(Mahesh Babu) is the CEO of Origin company in New York. Rishi is goal oriented person. He thinks about success all the time. He has a fear of failure. That’s the reason, he always wishes to succeed. Rishi’s PA(Meenakshi Deekshith) gives him a surprise by inviting Mtech old students and lecturers. Rishi feels happy by seeing them. Then he asks for two more classmates Pooja(Pooja Hegde) and Ravi(Allari Naresh). Rishi encourages Ravi all the time. Rishi and Pooja fall in love but afterwards, they break up due to some reasons. Rishi, Ravi, and Pooja are good friends. Rishi comes to know a secret about Ravi through his lecturer. He sets out to find Ravi and reaches India and the rest of the film continues.

As Maharshi is the 25th film in Mahesh Babu’s career, the film has huge expectations. Maharshi trailer has heightened expectations. Mahesh Babu appeared in three different shades as Student, CEO, and Farmer in Maharshi. Mahesh performance in the three different characters is outstanding. Allari Naresh as Ravi who comes from the village has done full justice to his role. He loves his village and goes to the extreme to safeguard it.

Mahesh Babu arrives in India after knowing about his father’s death. The emotional scene while he reads the letter written by his father is very touching. Maharshi reminds us about the films Srimanthudu, Kathanayakudu, and Raghuvaran Btech. Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Kamal Kamaraju, Vennala Kishore justified their roles.

Director Vamshi showcased the situation of the farmers in the film. What government and youth must do for farmers well being? With the top-notch performances, Maharshi timeline is captivating and fabulous. Devi Sri Prasad music is good. Maharshi is made with high production values which appear in every frame. Vamshi believed in the story and presented it honestly. Though the story is not new, Maharshi is a good movie.
