Mehbooba review.


Mehbooba a romantic action entertainer is directed by sensational director Puri Jagannadh. Akash Puri and  Neha Shetty did the lead roles in this film. Mehbooba is based on the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pak war. Puri after taking a long gap made his re-entry with a different subject this time. The film has fantastic songs, the teasers and the trailer got a nice response. The visuals in the promos are captivating. Puri has been diligently working for this film.

The movie starts with the character Roshan(Akash Puri) who loves India from childhood and plans to join the army. Roshan frequently gets nightmares and grown with memories of past lives.  Before joining the army he goes to trekking trip in the Himalayas along with his friends. Afreen(Neha Shetty) hails from pakistan to India for higher studies. Afreen plunges into a dangerous situation but Roshan rescues her. But Afreen doesn’t know who resuced her. After that Roshan finds out that Afreen is dead and he gets diligent in finding the culprit and then rest of the film continues.

Analysis: Puri Jagannadh, made this film with a passion keeping in mind about his recent flops. This movie is totally different when compared to Puri’s previous films. The dialogue delivery and performance of Akash Puri are marvellous. Neha Shetty performance is also good. The visuals of war scenes are fantastic. Sandeep Chowtha’s BGM is good and some of the songs are mesmerizing.  Vishnu Sharma’s cinematography is impressive.  Overall Puri Jagannadh came back with a new subject and impressed.
